Excellent LCD + extra Home Cinema System

I bought Samsung 32R74BDX for £588, which is excellent value for money. The look of LCD is mesmerizing, and Picture quality is excellent. Digital Freeview picture quality is well above my expectation. It was really easy to setup and I was watching tele within 5-10 minutes of receiving delivery.

- Pros: Great picture quality.. looks fab
- Cons: Slow to change channels
I have had this TV for around 2 months, and have not had any problems.. I use it as a P.C. monitor (1360 x 768) and it is hooked up to my XBOX 360, picture quality is stunning in games etc.
I dont use the tv's speakers, which are on the tinny side, as I have it connected to my HI-Fi
My only real criticism is the time it takes to change channels, when watching freeview.

- Pros: Excellent picture quality, design, ease of use
- Cons: poor sound quality
This tv is a grat buy, it delivers exceptional picture quality for the price, with a contrast ratio of 5000:1 it out performs many Tvs of twice its price. It also look amazing on or off, and is very easy to set up and use. The only downside is the poor speakers, this is easily fixed as it has an optical sound output, and for proper Hi-Def you want surround sound as well, come on. Overall, Brillian... Serious Sofware Issues

This model comes with faulty software. I had 3 different TVs delivered last 4 weeks. The picture goes off & on when red graphics come on the TV programme (film4 BBc interval cards). Samsung cant fix it and all they can do is keep delivering different TVs to me. The sound is really really bad. The overall quality (although the design is superb) is really poor. Read Full Review »
