Samsung LE-40M87 -

Got this TV as a friend said that the picture was possibly better than the Sony, and Virgin V+ box was on offer.

Compared the picture on both in store, then bought online.

HD is fantastic, with 'normal' channels varying in quality, but still superb. I was worried as it was a replacement for my Sony 32" LCD bought for considerably more 2-3 years ago. Fiddle with the default settings as the black is a bit dark which does sometimes lose the detail, plus the colours could be a little garish. Settings adjustment is very intuative.

I cant comment on the sound much as the sound is diverted through a home cinema system.

Not too much packaging either, and all recyclable.

The shiny black plastic is very much a dust magnet.
