    Have one for 5 months now.

    • Pros: picture clarity and colour, connectivity, price
    • Cons: switching chanels a bit slow but not serious.

    I am very happy with this. (LE40R87BDX ... same as currys LE40R88) I am used to sitting 2.3 metres from the set. (measured to eyeballs)I can see the individual hairs on the presenters heads. red-bull air race looks stunning. wildlife and underwater tv films are great. I am only watching the built in freeview with a cheap plastic indoor ariel. though I am line of sight +- 4 miles to crystal palace ... Read Full Review »

    Great LCD

    • Pros: Excellent value, fantasic quality, plug and play, 3 HDMI
    • Cons: None really

    The other reviewer must have had a broken set, because i have had this tv for nearly 2 weeks now and really cannot fault it. The 40in does take a bit of getting used to however, but after a while you don't really notice. Got it hooked up to a Samsung Home Theatre and HD upscaling DVD and the results are truly awesome.     • Pros: Looks good and easy to use
    • Cons: poor picture quality

    Dont do it! if you are about to buy this TV stop and think, will I be sitting at least 4 metres away from my TV. If yes then this tv is an ok, a 7 out of 10. If you are sitting closer then forget it the picture quality is rubbish and the judder on fast moving pictures ie action movies of football games is terrible. Sorry Samsung I am usually a big fan of your products. Read Full Review »
