Toshiba 47WLT66
Review summary: The Toshiba 47WLT66 is a full HD TV but suffers for a number of problems that can plague LCD panels
Pros: It does colours well, nice and bright
Verdict: Toshiba making a bad LCD TV these days is an unlikely occurrence, and it certainly hasn't done a bad job with the 47WLT66. Neither is this one of its best, however

Verdict: Not quite top drawer, but the HD performance and price make it worth a look.

Toshiba 42WLT66
Review summary: The Toshiba performs well at hi-def but not so well with standard-def
Pros: Hi-def performance is good, Lower cost than similar models
Cons: Poor black levels
Verdict: As the Brothers wrestle with the enchanted trees, meanwhile, we also detected small traces of motion smearing - and this smearing escalates in intensity quite dramatically while watching standard-def sources, making it one of the weaker non-HD ...

- Pros: Slimline, top value for money.
- Cons: Tight fitting RCAsockets; nearly broke off flimsy plastic surround..
Have had this TV since June 06. I have it connected to Sky Digibox via scart & Toshiba SD350 DVD via (expensive) component cable. Picture quality is excellent, although I can't quite justify expense (yet) of Sky HD, this is what I bought it for. Sound is so-so; I therefore connect DVD/Sky to my stereo. Remote control is fine, as I only use it to turn on/off & switch between DVD/sky. The newer ...

- Pros: Great Value Flat Screen LCD, Easily set up.
- Cons: None
I found this to be a very good value for money LCD tv, I purchased mine for only £580 way cheeper than currys or comets it was easy to set up, and the picture quality is far better than that of a normal CRT television, especially when connected to a decent digital receiver. The slow response on the remote is only apperent when usuing the built in DVT (Freeview receiver) and that is only due to the...

- Pros: Excellent inch per pound ratio
- Cons: Poor remote
Have it for a week now ...
OK think we all know: there are no good LCDs but the pros right away: it is money well spent. My CRT broke down so I had to get a new one and just like everybody else I just wanted a flat one.
The cons:
1. the remote is poor I think. Not that there are functions missing but the response of the TV is bad. It's one of those: the batteries are flat so just press the bu...

- Pros: Fantastic picture
- Cons: Could do with better surround simulation
A great buy. I am delighted with this TV and well worth its price. The only slight disappointment is that its virtual surround sound is not as good as I expected. however, overall I am delighted with this TV and I would recommend it wholeheartedly
