Toshiba 37X3030
By John Archer
Review summary: Those hopes are raised by the 37X3030's excellent build quality, which combines a slick glossy black bezel with emphatically angular lines to impressively 'no-nonsense' effect. Plus it's even got a couple of connections more than most, with the usual ...
Pros: Full HD resolution, good pictures mostly, plenty of features, aggressive price res

Toshiba 42X3030
Review summary: Toshiba knows it stuff when it comes to making small LCDs - but this 42-incher shows it's still got a thing or two to learn on the big screen
Pros: Good features for the price. Full HD spec a good match with Toshiba's HD DVD players
Cons: Grainy images. Colours are compressed and lack vibrancy

Toshiba 37X3030
Review summary: It's robust, impressively glossy, and quite stylish - far from the plasticky grey nastiness you often see at this price level
Pros: Great price, Full HD, Looks good
Cons: Black levels slightly weak
Verdict: There's only one disappointing element in the 37X3030's specifications, and that's the lack of the solid 100Hz engine that helped motion look clearer on some previous Toshiba sets

Toshiba 37X3030
By arthur smeaton (19/02/2008)
- Pros: Smart, picture frame, fits into smaller alcoves. Great sound
- Cons: none that come to notice
An absolute gem of a tv. with bright vibrant colours with very good black and whites. After two new Samsung 40" 1080p taken back to Currys for poor quality pictures and pixel loss, and diabolical sound, this tv really shone, coping well with movement much better than the Samsung's. I have since bought a Vigin V-plus box which has a high definition service that really shows off the Toshiba ...

Toshiba 37X3030
By Gabe Spy (05/02/2008)
- Pros: Great picture at either standard or high def, decent standard sound
- Cons: You do need some distance between you and the TV for the full effect.
I got this TV from Comet to replace a 32" JVC CRT. It's simply mind-blowing. Colours are lush, picture is pin-sharp and the sound is surprisingly good for such small speakers. It's not too heavy and freed up acres of room compared to the CRT. The only (slight) downside is you really need to watch it from 6 feet away (less on 1080 high-def) to get the benefit. Highly recommneded.
