      By Rik Fairlie

Pros: Amazing design ; intuitive, fun interface ; great iPod functionality ; gorgeous 3.5-inch display ; good-looking e-mail messaging, voicemail interface ; easy to use

Cons: Slow Web surfing via EDGE network ; touch-screen keyboard has a learning curve ; disappointing battery life ; expensive

Apple iPhone Plans with No Mobile Data on the Way

      By Michael Kwan

Review summary: Oh, and there are a few more sacrifices that will have to be made if you want to opt out of a "conventional" iPhone plan. You lose Visual Voicemail and you also lose the "free" 200 SMS messages that come with the cheapest iPhone plan...

      By Jacqui Cheng

Review summary: Thousands (and thousands) of words, a handful of big, high-resolution demonstration videos, and a brutal stress test that will get the iPhone protected by PETA. Three (and a half) reviewers enter; one score leaves.

Verdict: There are a lot of things to love about the iPhone and a lot of things tohate. Accounting for every single usage pattern for the device is impossible,as everyone uses their phones in different ways, even among the techiecommunity. What constitutes a ...
