      BlackBerry Curve 8310

      Review summary: RIM has incrementally upgraded the BlackBerry Curve with the addition of a GPS receiver, although we're still waiting for 3G connectivity.

      Pros: Inbuilt GPS, Full QWERTY form-factor, Large and bright screen

      Cons: No Wi-Fi or 3G, Short battery life, Sluggish processor

      Verdict: With the addition of GPS the BlackBerry Curve 8310 is an incremental upgrade, although we're still waiting for 3G connectivity.

      RIM BlackBerry Curve 8310

      Pros: Style and design, trackball and keyboard, ease of use, built-in GPS, Vodafone Compass software

      Cons: No 3G, no Wi-Fi, GPS data sometimes sluggish over GSM network

      Verdict: The BlackBerry Curve 8310 adds GPS to an already enticing unit. Its only real drawbacks are the lack of Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
