      T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 review

Review summary: Along with the Pearl, the Curve series represents the kinder, gentler side of BlackBerry; it's the side that appeals to consumers without sacrificing power, and from time to time, it's the side that's even been known to show some sex appeal. The ...

RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 review (T-Mobile)

      By Philip Berne

Review summary: Check out our BlackBerry Curve 8900 review for an in-depth look at T-Mobile's update to the most popular BlackBerry.

Pros: Slimmest full-QWERTY BlackBerry. Great messaging support. Slick design with a great, high-density screen.

Cons: No 3G networking. Lacks abundant storage. Call quality and reception could be better (though UMA helps).

Verdict: but it retains the full QWERTY keyboard that the Pearl lacks. It's stuck in the middle, in terms of size, features and price, but the middle is the perfect place for this BlackBerry device

      RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 (T-Mobile)

Pros: The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 offers a sleeker and more solidly constructed design as well as a brilliant display. The smartphone features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS and brings new productivity tools, a full HTML Web browser, and a 3.2-megapixel camera

Cons: The Curve 8900 lacks 3G support, and the smartphone can occasionally be sluggish

Verdict: We're disappointed by the lack of 3G, but the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 is a solid update to the Curve series, bringing a better design, improved features, and faster performance and is one of T-Mobile's top smartphone offerings.
