      HTC S620

      By Sandra Vogel

Pros: Landscape-format screen Usable QWERTY keyboard 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0

Cons: Fiddly and awkward touch bar (the JOGGR) Average battery life Not suitable for creating and editing business documents

Verdict: If you primarily want to handle email on the move, this slim BlackBerry-like Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone with Direct Push technology is a good option. It has its quirks, though, and isn't suitable for creating or editing longer documents.

      By Stephen Baker

Review summary: This multifeatured phone puts form too far above function; even at the lower price, this device left me longing for my BlackBerry.

Verdict: People at the Monaco Media Forum watched as I pulled the phone out of my pocket, and at least five of them had the very same reaction. "Nice form factor," they said. That's geek talk for "great design." The sleek new Dash, from Deutsche...

      By Michael Oryl

Review summary: This has been a good year for QWERTY smartphones, and the new T-Mobile Dash (HTC S620) might just be the icing on an already tasty cake. With WiFi, EDGE, Bluetooth, and Microsoft's Direct Push technology, the Dash seems to have it all.
