      HTC S730

      By Sandra Vogel

Review summary: The HTC S730 improves upon its sibling model, the S710, by adding 3G connectivity to its smart phone interface. The Qwerty keyboard is now easier to use, with each key having a raised central area. It also supports two-way video calling and has a ...

Pros: 3G connectivity with HSDPA ; supports two-way video calling ; slide-out Qwerty keyboard ; accessible microSD card slot

Cons: Bulky and heavy for a smart phone ; moderate battery life

Verdict: Aside from 3G, this update to the S710 adds little improvement. In fact, the S730 is slightly heavier than its predecessor and delivers less battery life. Whether you go for the S730 will depend largely on how much you need 3G

      HTC S730 Review

      By admin

Review summary: The HTC S730 is the natural progression from the earlier S710, but this time they have added the much sought after 3G option that was missing from the latter. But ...

Verdict: The HTC S730 is a good smartphone but it's heavier and less appealing than its predecessor. We are also concerned about the memory leak problem we experienced during tests. It did not affect performance too much, but running multiple or memory ...

Cons: Bulky and heavy for a smartphone Moderate battery life

Verdict: This update to the S710 adds little apart from 3G/HSDPA connectivity. In fact, the S730 is slightly heavier than its predecessor and delivers less battery life. Whether you go for the S730 will depend largely on how much you need 3G.

HTC S730 Preview - Mobile Phones

      By Damian Koh

Review summary: htc s730 review: Even though the S730 is one of the few HTC products without a touchscreen, it is probably the first candy-bar style smartphone we've seen that has a slide-out full QWERTY keypad. Plus the S730 has excellent connectivity options.
