LG U880 Review - Mobile Phones
By Renai LeMay
Review summary: LG's U880 is a nice little bundle to keep in your pocket or hold to your ear, but like so many entry-level 3G phones a lot more work needs to be put into the user interface.
Pros: Nice size and solid feel, External buttons to control the MP3 player, Swivelling camera, Five colours on offer, Relatively modest price
Cons: Feature set is already outdated, Camera takes mediocre shots, User interface is clunky, PC interface takes a little getting used to
Verdict: Entry-level 3G phone that does all the multimedia basics, but doesn't always do them well. The size and shape of the U880 will go down well, however, and you can get the phone cheaply on a monthly plan.

LG U880
By Ross Catanzariti
Pros: Well built and compact, Keypad design, Solid list of features, Price
Cons: Controls still need some work, Display could be improved, Average quality camera, Bizarre speakerphone activation
Verdict: If you are looking for a 3G handset with a good list of features in an attractive and compact package, then the U880 may be for you. A good effort from LG, considering previous models.

Review: LG U880
By Alistair Warmington
Review summary: Hands on with LG's surprisingly slim 3G clamshell handset.
Pros: Taking the U880 out of the box, I was impressed right away at the chassis design.
Cons: Strangely, the LG U880 looks at first glance like it should be a considered as a music phone: there's a few music control buttons below the 'front screen' (the one on the outer edge) and of course there's the TransFlash slot.

By Stuart Miles
Review summary: LG has been at the heart of the 3G revolution since the beginning, so does its latest model offer anything new
Pros: Thin, easy to use, crisp colourful screen
Cons: Nothing too exciting here, only one camera, no flash on camera
Verdict: A good solid phone, just nothing to write home about
