Motorola SLVR L7 Review - Mobile Phones

      By Jeremy Roche

Review summary: Motorola's super slim SLVR L7 is a beautifully crafted phone with features including an MP3 player, microSD card slot and Bluetooth.

Pros: Sleek ultra-thin design, MP3 player functionality with 128MB microSD card included, Motorola H500 Bluetooth headset bundled, Bluetooth and quad-band connectivity, Standard mini USB connection on phone and headset

Cons: Camera is still only VGA (640 x 480 pixels), Average battery life, No iTunes support in Australia

Verdict: Basically a candybar version of the RAZR, Motorola's SLVR is a stylish, multimedia-savvy phone that slips easily into your pocket.

      Motorola SLVR L7 Review

      By Stewart Wolpin

Review summary: The SLVR's iTunes interface pretty much parallels the iPod's; but the SLVR is certainly no iPod.

Pros: iTunes-compatible cell phone that's even better looking than the RAZR

Cons: Low iPod Shuffle-like capacity ; poor earbuds ; exposed and vulnerable surface and screen

Motorola SLVR L7 Review - Mobile Tech Review

      By Lisa Gade

Review summary: Members of the candybar phone set who envied the Motorola RAZR's "thin is in" good looks are in luck. The Motorola SLVR L7, offered by Cingular in the US, takes the RAZR's techno-chic design and signature polished metal keypad and flattens it into the ...

Pros: Extremely attractive and ungodly slim. So slim and light you won't feel it in your pocket. iTunes integration is solid and the phone is as easy as an iPod to use when it comes to syncing music. Excellent display that's glossy, vivid and bright. ...

Cons: 100 song limit for iTunes playback. Music and voice quality could be better. USB 1.1 means syncing tunes isn't fast. Incoming Bluetooth headset volume isn't terribly loud

Verdict: A phone for those who feel that looks count most. The SLVR still manages a good feature set given its pretty-face appeal, and the price is right. The SLVR L7 shares the ROKR E1's 100 iTunes song limit, but for those who don't need more than 6 to 7 ...

      Motorola Slvr L7

      By Reviewed by Sandra Vogel

Review summary: If you are looking for the very latest features, the Slvr is not going to set your world on fire. But if you want your phone thin, black and stylish then it is worth considering

Pros: Above average music playback ; sleek lines ; nice (if small) screen

Cons: Too little built in memory ; poor camera ; amazing propensity to pick up grease from fingers

Verdict: Motorola's flat keyboarded, thin, black design gets another outing in the Slvr -- we've seen it before in the Razr and Pebl. Amazingly good looking, the SLVR has a feature-set which is average in most respects, though good quality music playback is a ...
