Motorola Rizr Z8 - black (Unlocked)

Pros: The Motorola Rizr Z8 has an innovative design, an attractive display and user interface, and a generous multimedia feature set. Also, its call quality was decent, and the video playback was excellent.

Cons: The Motorola Rizr Z8 construction takes getting used to, and its controls and keypad are unintuitive. It lacks voice dialing, and its interface was rather slow.

Verdict: The multimedia-friendly Motorola Rizr Z8 is a nice idea, but its pokey performance and awkward controls don't do it any favors.

      Motorola RIZR Z8 review

Review summary: Has Motorola finally fashioned a leading phone to take the pressure off the tired RAZR? Can the MOTORIZR Z8 deliver on its promise?…

Pros: The stand-out features of the Z8 have to be its quality video playback, slick KiKR-slider and the more user-friendly and customisable Symbian-based UI

Cons: For a phone of the Z8's ranking, the two-megapixel camera is miserable. Why not 3.2, Motorola

Verdict: The Z8 smartphone is Motorola's best and most powerful handset since the slimline classic. There is life after the RAZR.

      Motorola - MOTORIZR Z8

Review summary: Motorola has reinvented the slider phone with the Z8, a multimedia-focussed handset that runs a tweaked Smartphone operating system. The marketing for this handset is all about its fancy design and multimedia features, but before we ...

Verdict: The mostly black colour scheme with lime highlights is certainly eye-catching, as is the phone's unusual shape. The Bluetooth headset could prove handy too. All in all, it's an interesting package.
