      Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte

      By Ross Catanzariti

Pros: Stylish design, sapphire gem, leather front and rear, superb build quality, included Bluetooth headset

Cons: Price, no memory card slot, controls, no extensive features list

Verdict: The Sapphire Arte 8800 commands a price that would make even the most ardent fashionista baulk. Its huge asking price won't get you the most advanced features though.

      Nokia 8800 Arte

Review summary: Does the style conscious mobi have the style of a prêt-a-porter suit or the glamour of haute couture?

Pros: Build quality; Classy looks; Analogue cloc

Cons: Price; Can't match other phones for music or photos

Verdict: Pure quality. A thing of beauty at an ugly price

      Nokia 8800 Arte

      By Andrew Lim

Review summary: From the moment you take it out of its flashy box, you know the Nokia 8800 Arte fashion phone is something special. Building on the original 8800, it sets its sights on the luxury end of the market. With a 3.2-megapixel camera and a Web browser, is it ...

      Pros: Excellent build quality

Cons: Price tag ; lack of flash on the camera

Verdict: It's definitely priced as a high-end phone and it feels like one, but for what it offers in features, the Nokia 8800 Arte is just too expensive. We simply expected more and while it ticks a lot of boxes, we can't help feeling that it's not feature ...

Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte - that much! - MobileArsenal Mobile phone review

      By Bog

Review summary: How much?! Bog just learned that from the lottery prize he could only buy 752 Nokia 8800 Sapphire Artes.

Verdict: As the functions of Arte have already been discussed in detail, we’d like to talk more about his phone as a phenomenon. The box has again a rich set of accessories: there is a Bluetooth headset, as well as a leather case and a USB cable. These of ...

      Nokia 8800 Arte

Review summary: The 8800 Arte is satisfyingly solid and heavy and its constructed from the finest smoked glass and composite metals. With the slider shut, the 8800 is minimalist chic

Pros: It's a stunning-looking phone that's made from the finest materials.

Cons: It's expensive, it's heavy, the battery is poor and there's no expandable memory slot.

Verdict: Despite its shortcomings, the 8800 Arte is so beautifully made, you could forgive it (almost) anything. Until you drop it on your foot
