Review summary: You've seen our First Look at the E71, now here's the full review. A stunning phone perfectly molded to the needs of anyone whose life revolves around email

Verdict: Despite this, the keyboard is among the best we've used. It requires precision, so it's frustrating writing long emails, but few will complain. We're also fans of the E71's bright, 320 x 240 screen. While some will bemoan the lack of detail, its ...

      Nokia E71

Review summary: Nokia E71 is a mobile phone from Nokia that makes use of a QWERTY keypad. It has a 3.15 megapixel phone as well as a secondary videocall camera, and it comes in white steel and grey steel. Some of its features include MP3/MPEG4/AAC player, FM radio, ...

Pros: Nokia's answer to the BlackBerry, the E71 struts its telephonic stuff in the boardroom with a full-blown QWERTY keyboard. It's no chunker, though. In fact its 10mm profile makes the BlackBerry flock look like a family of porkers. We found the QWERTY's ...

Cons: Our only quibble with the E71 is to do with its looks. They're more bland than spam. That's it. Nothing more to see here

Verdict: BlackBerry beware: there's a new business/pleasure mobile in town and its gunning for your pin-striped crown.

      Review: Nokia E71 - A Thin Communicator

      By Troy Dreier

Review summary: While we love the external design, we never warmed up to the Symbian OS 9.2, Series 60 3.1 edition inside. Using it was never difficult, but poor organization turned simple jobs into multi-step chores, and hid too many options behind confusing menus

Verdict: The keyboard is quite small, and typing was occasionally a challenge for our large fingers. We were forced to type slowly and focus on hitting the right keys. The number pad shares space on the center keys, which is fine but we wish the numbers were ...
