Review summary: Nokia's multimedia-toting smart phones are no longer alone in their market and the N78 tries to build upon the earlier N-series successes. HSDPA, 3G and GPS are all on board this thin, candy-bar handset, which also boasts a flashier interface and an ...
Pros: HSDPA ; GPS ; Wi-Fi ; 3.5mm headphone jack
Cons: Navigation key isn't as easy to use as we expected ; camera could be better
Verdict: The N78 isn't a bad phone by any means but it's not as easy to use as we'd hoped for. While the range of features makes it exciting, the occasionally fiddly navigation key and 3.2-megapixel camera had us yearning for something a little more refined

Pros: The Nokia N78 features a 3.2-megapixel camera and integrated GPS for navigation and geotagging capabilities. The smartphone also offers U.S. 3G support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
Cons: The N78 didn't have the best call quality, nor did it produce great pictures. It's also expensive.
Verdict: As with all Nokia N series smartphones, the Nokia N78 impresses with its high-end features, especially the new geotagging tool, but we were slightly disappointed by the spotty call quality.

Review summary: First introduced at GSMA 2008, the Nokia N78 is finally making its way to the States. Like the other N series models, the N78 has a heavy focus on multimedia, boasting a 3.2-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, the ability to record video at VGA ...

Pros: Great sat nav, camera, music player and web browsing
Cons: The plastic rear casing feels a little flimsy and the keys are fiddly
Verdict: You can't fault the Nokia N78 for features and functions, but the plastic casing feels a little hollow for a premium-end handset.

Pros: Bright, sharp display, GPS, WiFi and FM radio and transmitter. Great looks, cool design. Has all US bands and HSDPA support with great browser speeds. Music playback sounds good through wired headphones and A2DP, though not quite as good as the Nokia ...
Cons: If you're in love with small phones, this isn't your bag. The camcorder's VGA video seems pointless at only 15 fps: I'd rather have 30 fps of higher quality QVGA video
Verdict: massive storage, the N78 is a logical alternative. Though longer, it is thinner and we expect when the phone has been out a few months, prices will settle and the N78 will be a cost-saving alternative. The phone certainly offers a lot for the money: ...
