      Pros: Badger spotting. It's good, clean fun for all the family but incredibly difficult with most cameraphones – they can't handle the dark and there's no way to get closer to all that earthworm-grubbing action. Welcome the G800, whose 3x optical zoom and ...

      Cons: This is pretty much a one trick pony. There's no Wi-Fi or GPS on board, just a basic media player (although at least with stereo Bluetooth) and HTML-only browser. Plus, there's Samsung's usual anti-intuitive menus to mash your brain

      Verdict: A perfectly serviceable cameraphone that's worth considering if you need hi-res mobile snaps -but it's looking on the expensive side these days.

      Cons: Bulky design, keypad tactility, sluggish user interface, proprietary headphone jack

      Verdict: The G800 is the cream of the crop when it comes to camera phones. Five megapixels, 3x optical zoom and face detect make this a handy imaging device to have in your pocket. Camera aside, the rest of the handset is solid, but not outstanding
