      Samsung Omnia (16GB, Unlocked) review

Pros: The Samsung Omnia features a nice touch screen and customizable interface that makes the Windows Mobile smartphone easier to use. It also has a 5-megapixel camera and a boatload of other multimedia features

Cons: You can't add additional widgets to the TouchWiz interface, and there are some nagging design quirks. The unlocked version does not offer U.S. 3G support, and it's expensive

Verdict: Like the HTC Touch Diamond (right), the Samsung Omnia features a unique touch-screen user interface.

      Samsung Omnia

Review summary: Samsung strikes a good balance between work and play with its Omnia smartphone.

Pros: Attractive user interface ; great 5-megapixel camera ; plays multiple video file formats

Cons: Browser freezes up at times ; GPS navigation does not work out of the box ; touchscreen interface is frustrating without the stylus

Verdict: The Samsung Omnia is really an all-in-one device that tries hard to cover all grounds. As a mobile phone, the Omnia nails it when it comes to providing exceptional call quality though it can be frustrating to text message with the phone's cramped ...
