The future is (almost) here

Pros: Portable, easy to use, large capacity
Cons: 160Gb is still too small and screen is quite small

I have waited a long time to take the plunge and buy an iPod, as with the cost they are not something to run to lightly. The 160Gb is a good choice for me, because I am not of the old "music only" generation, infact aside from my collection of 80's wonders, I only have around 1,000 in total stored.
No, the purpose of my iPod is to carry beloved TV programs, Movies and Podcasts. Software is available to compress existing purchases or you can download them fresh from the iTunes store. The picture quality is clear and clean, the sound is good also. The only downside is if you want to connect your iPod to your TV. Previous devices worked through the earphone socket and used an in-expensive AV cable. This version requires you to purchase a more advanced setup which connects to the base and costs £25 and upwards. Other than that I am very pleased with my hand held Entertainment centre and would recommend to all (until a larger iPod or preferably iTouch or iPhone comes along that is !)
