      iPod nano 4GB

Review summary: It's a really small, color iPod. Any questions?

Pros: Small size, color screen, photo storage, long battery life.

Cons: Won't sync with FireWire cable, doesn't include accessory port, feels a tad fragile.

Verdict: Earphone upgrade, some kind of protective case

Review summary: Apple created a phenomenon with the iPod. Now it has reinvented that phenomenon with the iPod nano.

Review summary: It's a case of one step forwards; two steps back for Apple's 'new' iPod nano. While we welcome the return of multi-coloured iPods back into our lives, we can't help but notice the new nano looks just like the old iPod mini. Can a barely retro iPod ...

Pros: Bright screen, solid battery life, alphanumeric overlay browsing feature, support for voice memos, rugged exterior, bright colours, improved centre button "feel"

Cons: Earbuds won't fit everyone, text search can be tedious, takes longer to sync than previous nano

Verdict: The second-generation iPod nano is both a welcome step back to the more colourful (and scratch-resistant) days of the iPod mini and a moderate step forward in functionality. This middle-child iPod now feels and looks great with its rugged aluminium ...
