      Pros: Smart, classy, very very cool ; an excellent music player

      Cons: Expensive for the capacity, no Flash in browser, no e-mail as with iPhone, cant install third-party apps

      Verdict: The closest the Middle East will get to the iPhone for a while, the Touch is a true object of desire and rightly so, despite its limitations.

      Apple iPod Touch

      Review summary: This is, without doubt, one of the most desirable PMPs it's been my pleasure to stroke. It's oh so sleek, beautifully designed and every interaction you have with it is satisfying - well, mostly.

      Verdict: . As a media player, the iPod touch won't disappoint you, but when you hold one in your hands, it's hard not to think that the device could've offered more. Perhaps Apple will add new features with software updates.
