iPod Touch (Review)
Review summary: Apple's new iPod Touch is a little confusing. It looks just like an iPhone, but it's not a phone and it lacks other iPhone features, such as a camera and Bluetooth. And, while the iPod Touch neither looks nor acts anything like a traditional iPod - ...
Pros: revolutionary interface without iPhone's AT&T charges and accessory/interference (GSM) issues, Wi-Fi provides Web access, accepts standard mini-stereo plug (unlike iPhone), good performance overall, good screen images
Cons: capacity limited to 16 GB max., lacks hardware features offered by iPhone: camera, Bluetooth, volume control, speaker, lacks iPhone applications: Mail, Notes, Maps, SMS, Widgets (Weather, Stocks, etc.), mediocre earphones (and some amplifier noise), ...
Verdict: If you're a typical MacInTouch reader with some spare cash, and you don't have or want an iPhone (perhaps because you don't like AT&T), you should probably run out and buy an iPod Touch - just for its innovation and the experience of exploring its ...

Apple iPod Touch (8GB)
Pros: The Apple iPod Touch has a large, video-worthy screen, a cutting-edge interface, and Wi-Fi Internet and music download capabilities.
Cons: The iPod Touch may cost too much for you, depending on your needs. It has a small capacity for a portable video player.
Verdict: The iPod Touch is a beautiful product, inside and out. Unfortunately, its lean capacity keeps it from reigning as king of the iPods.

An in-depth iPod Touch review
Review summary: The iPod Touch delivers an advanced new generation of the iPod using technology developed for the iPhone. However, it's not an "iPhone without the phone," and that reality is likely to upset lots of users who want it to be. For everyone else, the new ...
Pros: Scratch resistant metal face and glass screen ; Ultra thin, but solid construction ; Excellent media playback features ; Rich Internet experience with mobile Safari ; Very nice Photo library browser
Cons: Lacks the new iPod stopwatch and photo slideshow polish ; Polished metal back will scuff up quickly without a cover ; No remote control feature ; Missing potential PDA features
Verdict: Outside of that irritating limitation, the Touch is a remarkably thin media player that delivers impressive video and audio features, surfs the web, displays photo albums, and even offers to put your photos and video on TV and allows you to shop for ...
