      Apple iPod touch 8GB

Review summary: The key feature, aside from the quite lovely 3.5-inch display, is the device's WiFi capabilities

Pros: Very attractive ; Groundbreaking features ; WiFi enabled

Cons: Low storage capacity ; High price

Verdict: This all means that if there's no WiFi access available then you've just spent £200 on a high maintenance, low capacity PMP. The calculator's nice though and works offline..

      32GB iPod touch review

      By Christopher Breen,

Review summary: Apple's new 32GB iPod touch very nearly lives up to the dream of the phone-less iPhone.

Verdict: If you've held off on purchasing an iPod touch because it hasn't offered enough of the iPhone's functionality or storage, it may be time to reconsider unbuckling your credit card. Granted, the display could be a bit brighter and its colour a little ...

Object of Desire: Apple iPod Touch

      By Dan Havlik

Review summary: Those great iPhone features -- excluding the phone -- are a touch away.

Verdict: Our one gripe? The iPod touch's maximum storage capacity of just 16GB is still kind of puny. Release a 30GB version and we'd buy it in a heartbeat

      Apple iPod touch (8GB)

      By Donald Bell

Review summary: The iPod touch is a beautiful product, inside and out. Unfortunately, its lean capacity keeps it from reigning as king of the iPods.

Pros: The Apple iPod touch has a large, video-worthy screen, a cutting-edge interface, and Wi-Fi Internet and music download capabilities

Cons: The iPod touch may cost too much for you, depending on your needs. It has a small capacity for a portable video player

Verdict: Although the iPod touch (center) shares most of its features with the iPhone (left), it is technically a sibling of the iPod classic (right)

New Zealand PC World Magazine > Apple iPod touch

By Christopher Breen and Eric Dahl

Review summary: For iPhone-starved New Zealanders, the iPod touch looked like it was shaping up to be a decent compromise while we waited for a local release. Based on its specs - wi-fi, mobile Safari, the multi-touch interface and twice the iPhone's storage capacity ...

Verdict: Indeed, the only missing features are the phone itself, the camera, the physical volume buttons and a few iPhone applications. We can understand the rationale behind omitting the Mail and Google Maps applications (both would work better with the Apple ...
