Review summary: The Apple iPod touch is a curious beast. It looks like an iPhone, works like an iPhone. It even includes Wi-Fi and web-surfing like the iPhone. And yet it patently isn't one - a quick look across its glass-covered fascia will tell you that
Pros: Multi-touch interface is a blast, It's the first true video iPod, Decent sound and picture quality, Incredibly slim and light
Cons: The iPod touch is too similar to the iPhone, Contrast and viewing angle are average, Not enough storage for some, Feels like a rush job
Verdict: The iPod touch is beautiful, accomplished and slick. But it's similarity to the iPhone doesn't do it any favours

Pros: Intuitive interface ; Slim profile ; Large screen ; Wi-Fi that allows Internet, YouTube, and iTunes access
Cons: Small capacity for a PMP ; Smudges upfront, scratch-prone at the back ; Price point
Verdict: A unit that definitely paves the way for the next generation of portable media players. It could have been better though if Apple placed a larger capacity to it.
