      Pros: Excellent sound quality ; records directly to MP3 via the line-in jack, the S/PDIF port, or the built-in microphone ; CompactFlash slot for photos from digital cameras ; on-the-fly and standard playlists ; healthy battery life

      Cons: Heavy and bulky ; voice recording and photo-wallet functionality require downloaded plug-ins ; no built-in radio ; no photo display ; so-so Mac support
