Philips GoGear Jukebox HDD1620 (6GB)
By Rachel Wolan
Review summary: Micro-hard-drive MP3 player with 6GB memory and subscription compatibility
Pros: Attractive price ; sharp, full-colour display ; voice recorder ; included earbuds are surprisingly decent
Cons: Glossy, black surface is highly smudge-prone ; touch-sensitive controls are ultrasensitive ; processor isn't always up to speed
Verdict: The 6GB Philips GoGear Jukebox HDD1620 will please penny-pinchers and patient power users alike, but if you demand a speedy processor in your MP3 player, look elsewhere

Philips GoGear HDD1620 6GB
By Alan Paul Bedford (03/05/2007)
- Pros: Value for your money
- Cons: Needs upgrade for latest windows media 11
The unit on its own has great realiability and with all the add ons available makes for good buying. When added to the input of your stereo systems with its own remote, makes for pleasant listening. Buy whilst stocks are still avalible.

- Cons: Charger
Having been massively let down by the Ipod Nano I plumped for the Philips, which has been excellent value for money. For a starters it hasn't given up the ghost after 6 months, and is still playing away merrily. If like me you just want to listen to a few tunes to and from work and are not overly technical then I would highly recommend this MP3. Good Value, plenty of storage, very easy to use ...

Philips GoGear HDD1620 6GB
By Anonymous (18/08/2006)
- Pros: Touch Screen, Good Sound, Clear Menu
- Cons: Sometimes it is too sensitive
Good played managed to get for £100 by haggling on a clearence product. Not too keen on the split lead which has the usb and the mians in the same lead, bit of pain compared to the universal device cables that most other MP3 players use. Apart from that it is fine.
