      Verdict: The Fuze is a versatile value for money player that offers a ton of features. It sports a click wheel and a simple interface. The sound is well-balanced across all frequency ranges provided you buy a decent set of earphones.

      Review summary: The name Sandisk has always sounded like some sort of feminine hygiene product to us, but get past that and the company actually makes some excellent portable media players. Case in point: the Sandisk Sansa Fize.

      Pros: Trusty, reliable and a great all-rounder. Very cheap

      Cons: It's not very exciting

      Verdict: You won't find a better MP3 player than the Sandisk Sansa Fuze for under £50.
