Wait till they deal with the software issue...

- Pros: Beautiful sound and lovely design
- Cons: Awful software BEWARE OMA/OMG formatting
I'd coveted this player for a while and after using several mp3 players bought it for christmas. However, no matter how wonderful and shiny it is, the software is atrocious! First, all MP3s already on my computer were converted to the hideous sony format. Secondly, my other MP3 player could no longer access these files - ummm my music I bought it! SHould be allowed to play it!

A serious contender for Ipod's crown?

- Pros: Unique organic design, nice menu system and nice portable size
- Cons: The software, battery life, difficult to read screen when it's sunny
I do like this player and it could have been beautiful...

The design is out-of-this-world and you feel more like an individual by not owning an ipod. However I did find that the battery life was not as good as it is made out to be. It's not for everyone!

- Pros: small, good looks, big storage
- Cons: battery life isnt actually that long
ok first things first, its not for everyone!!!

you have to have a good computer to make the connect player software to work smooth! as it clearly states on the back of the box, if you can't get this to work then you either have a firewall on or something!!

mine reacted as soon as i put the disc in the drive and installed it and was uploading songs in minutes, well 40 mins as i uploaded 1230 ... Read Full Review »

I purchased the sony nw1000 at christmas loaded all ok on the computer but couldn't use the connect for about 3 weeks. Trying to speak to someone was a nightmare it was emails all the way eventually it sprung into life, i was told you could download from windows media but that doesn't work. - Pros: Elegant, Sleek and Sexy
- Cons: Battery life and controls
A top MP3 player from a top manufacturer. Don't believe the stories about the software, it is excellent and upgrades are available. No problems downloading and I managed to import nearly 3GB of MP3's in under five minutes. Downside is the battery.
