Product Reviews: Sony 20GB NW-HD3
By Jason Saundalkar
Review summary: A further niggle was finding out that the MP3 player doesn't remember your location in the music library. This means that you have to scroll back to the same position all over again, should you play a song and then go back to choose another one from ...
Verdict: Good looks, top-quality sound and easy enough to work with, save for a couple of frustrating niggles.

Cons: No extra features ; works only with bundled SonicStage jukebox software

By Ryan Johnston (23/03/2006)
- Pros: Looks, ease of use, battery life
- Cons: Sonic Stage!!! rubbish standard headphones
Most of my friends own ipods but after hearing some of their complaints I was determined to find an alternative. I bought the mp3 player on Ebay for $130 (cheaper than the 20gb ipod). It looks good, sound quality is excellent and because of sony's openmg ATRAC3 compression it stores more music than the ipod. I did have a few problems with Sonic Stage (v2.0) but after downloading v3.1 from the ...
