LG 50PB65
By Alex Jennings
Review summary: At amazing value for money, the LG 50PB65 50-inch plasma TV is also packed with picture processing and incredibly intense, vibrant colours. It's HD-friendly and objects move across the screen with amazing clarity. Plus, it looks great, with a polished ...

Cons: Slight black level issues, Noise with standard definition, Image retention
Verdict: The 50PB65's remote happily shuns the style-over-substance approach of many of LG's predecessors, instead combining tasteful looks with intuitive layout to good effect

Pros: Tasteful design, Great price, Superbly vibrant colours, Good feature count
Cons: Slight black level issues, Noise with standard definition, Image retention
Verdict: A few rivals put the 50PB65's mixed picture performance into perspective, but its aggressive pricing could still find it an audience

LG 50PB65 50in plasma TV
Review summary: Does John's love for chocolate extend to this plasma's picture quality?
Verdict: With its tiny price, reasonably glam looks and spicy features count, we really, really wanted to love this LG TV. But ultimately no amount of clever marketing, competitive pricing or aggressive picture traits can hide the fact that when it comes to ...
