Panasonic TH-37PX80 -

This was a bit of an impulse buy for me, not knowing I could get it for alot less than I paid (April 2008). If can purchase under £700 I would say it is well worth the money if you love watching sports, films or playing games. The screen life is long for plasma and the picture quality is great for fast moving images (games etc), for this reason I opted for a plasma TV despite its minor flaws.
The negative aspects are that it is not a full 1080p picture (but can recieve any resolution up to and including 1080p), although I could not notice no real difference when I compared a high resolution photo to a full 1080p TV of same size. However I would say a screen any larger does show the difference in resolution. Most HD games and upscaled DVD's are not in 1080p so its not an issue. Although this was a concern I made the slight comprimised because of its advantages with fast moving pictures. Still gives a great crisp image in HD, so no complaints apart from paying well over todays asking price. Oh well am not dissappointed.
