      Review summary: Aesthetically the 46PZ85 is a touch disappointing. Not ugly by any means, but certainly a touch staid in its straightforward black bezel and angular lines.

      Pros: Mostly terrific pictures, fair price considering the quality on offer, lots of good image processing

      Cons: Intelligent Frame Creation can cause artefacts if not used sparingly, occasionally some red colours look a little orange

      Cons: > [Intelligent Frame Creation] doesn't work as well as we'd like it to, > Cannot deinterlace film-based content properly, > No white balance control in user menu to calibrate greyscale

      Verdict: Although [Intelligent Frame Creation] may not win over many viewers, Panasonic TH42PZ85B delivers superb HD picture quality at an affordable price.

    • Pros: Almost perfect to CRT blacks and excellent for gaming.
    • Cons: decent emulated surround sound quality and image frame creation.

    I recently brought this and I was amazed by its excellent quality at 1080p using HDMI without any distortions and brought out the full potential of my blu-ray cinema and ps3 gaming to near perfection. :D
