      Panasonic Viera TH-42PX8A

      Review summary: WITH outstanding image quality and good performance, this is one of the best 720p units on the market.

      Pros: Sharp picture, great colours, strong performance across both HD and SD, bright picture, good PC performance

      Cons: Contrast in dark areas a little lacking, not full 1080p

      Verdict: Panasonic's Viera TG-42PX8A is a stunning television and is definitely one of the best 720p units on the market right now. Its image quality is excellent and it performed well across a broad range of sources including HD, SD and PC.
