This was bought for our Rugby Club so we could enjoy the World Cup on the 50" widescreen. Big screen, big sound, right? Wrong! The volume is plenty for a large domestic living room but not for a Clubhouse Bar packed with beer monsters who insist on bellowing to each other whilst trying to listen to the commentary at the same time. You would think that most houses wouldn't want a TV of this size and that the manufacturers might be aware that pubs and clubs are a likely place of use. We had to mackle up some extra speakers to make the sound volume anywhere near acceptable. Having said that the picture quality is excellent and the Freeview came in handy when some of the earlier matches were on ITV4. Overall this huge Plasma TV is really good value for money.
