BenQ Joybee GP1 mini projector
Review summary: Portable, configurable and built to last, just a shame about the media player foibles.
Verdict: If portability isn't your main reason for choosing a projector, then there are many other options available for under £500 such as Optoma's HD700X which is HD Ready and still portable at around twice the size of the GP1. Indeed, priced at £420, the ...

BenQ Joybee GP1 projector
Review summary: Looking for a portable projector?
Pros: On-board speaker, simple to focus and set-up
Cons: File support through USB is a little hit and miss, you'll need extra cables
Verdict: As a business expense the GP1 is relatively affordable, but in the home we'd still prefer to go for some of the high-spec entry level projectors at a similar cost

Review summary: Good things. Small packages. You know the rest. BenQ's latest mini LED (Light Emitting Diodes) projector is diminutive, lamp-less, and costs from just £383/$690. The 640g projector is also compatible with most mass storage devices, including phones, ...
Verdict: Compared to the average 55-80% NTSC of most projectors, the GP1 noticeably performs with bold, deeply saturated hues across a broad colour gamut. Black levels are also faithfully reproduced thanks to DLP, but details in dark areas can get a little ...

BenQ GP1 review
Review summary: Part of BenQ's Joybee range of portable products, the GP1 is more of a micro than a pico projector - although the official name for the format is 'palm projector'.
Verdict: The Benq GP1 is a realistic replacement for a full-sized model - with good control of colour options and auto-keystoning it's a very effective point-and-show option for business use, and can give some of the cheaper home cinema systems a run for their ...
