Review summary: Despite delivering impressively bright while retaining good black levels, the Sony VW200 runs remarkably quietly
Pros: HDMI v1.3 connectivity ; Exceptionally quiet ; Good, basic image quality
Cons: Too many of its features seem to make pictures worse rather than better
Verdict: Especially when you can get JVC's superior HD100 for considerably less

Review summary: Although it certainly costs more than most of the 1080p competition, the SXRD-based Sony VPL-VW200 delivers one of the best pictures of any projector we've tested.
Pros: Exceptional color fidelity ; deep black with excellent shadow detail ; superb feature package ; includes panel alignment and blacking ; solid connectivity
Cons: Expensive ; some loss of resolution because of the scalar ; MotionFlow anti-judder processing creates artifacts and makes film look more like video ; no horizontal lens shift
