      Sony - Bravia VPL-HW10

Review summary: The technological entertainment industry is now so geared around digital performance and high definition output that no peripheral worth its salt can afford to ignore this juggernaut revolution, which is sweeping old technologies aside with barely ...

      Sony VPL-HW10

Pros: Reproduces deep, clean blacks with solid shadow detail ; reasonably accurate color ; excellent feature package including horizontal and vertical lens shift ; sleek styling

Cons: Red and green are somewhat inaccurate ; zoom, focus and lens shift are manual, not electronic ; not bright enough to drive very large screens

Verdict: Sony's VPL-VW10, the company's least expensive SXRD projector yet, proves itself a very good performer for the price, and therefore an excellent value.

Verdict: Controls are available on the device itself, although more convenient is the remote control. All operations are managed through an on-screen display
