Devo Wind Up Radio Rocks

By Kate Campbell (02/12/2006)
  • Pros: wind-up feature plus mains plug in adaptor
  • Cons: none so far

This radio has saved my ears from years of passive Radio Five Live listening.......now everything is crystal clear and no more screeching football reports on a Saturday afternoon filling the house. (No more wondering if I have tinnitus).
The main reasons for buying this were that it was digital and that you could wind it up - being keen to eliminate our energy use this was important. I must come clean and say that in the week we have owned this we have yet to use the wind up facility. I am prone to high ideals coupled unfortunately with laziness but the feature is simple to use and will get to come into its own before too long.
A nice feature is that the display tells you what record is playing.
