phillips 1080p upscaling dvd player

Pros: Graet looks 720p -1080p upscaling plug and play multi region hackable
Cons: Cheap plasitc looking remote no hdmi cable

Having just spent £1000.00 on a 1080p tv I wanted to make the most of its high def picture. Not Prepared to spent another £300 on skys hd box for six or so channels.An upscaling DVD player seemed the Best option. With most 1080p Upscalers costing at least hundred pounds plus. This Phillips DVD player seemed too cheap to be true and I nearly talked myself out of buying this one. Having got it home and watched two movies in 1080p Im so glad i didnt talk myself out of buying it.I would recomend this player to any one with a high def tv And lots of standard DVDs
