Nokia 8800 -

I've read a load of reviews about this phone from people bleating about it being expensive, the battery life being poor and fingerprints being a problem on the screen/stainless steel body.

My responses in order - negotiate with your network as I did until they offer you it as a free/low-cost upgrade; get a new higher powered battery as I did that doubles the battery life - about £8.00 from eBay; get a cloth and polish the thing for heaven's sake!!

This is, without doubt, THE most stylish phone I've ever seen, handled used or owned, and I've had use of many, including a Vertu! Some people are clearly not happy unless they've got something to maon about - my solution to that particular problem - GET OUT MORE!!!

Nokia menus easy to use, keyboard is on the small side, but after a couple of days use, you get used to it.

If you want to take great digital photos, get a digital camera. If you want a fantastic MP3 player, get an iPod. If you want all these functions (and a whole lot more) from your mobile phone it's either going to weigh a ton & be enormous/ugly, or you're going to be disappointed.

This is a fantastic phone - not a camera, not an MP3 player, not a PDA, it's a phone and a DAMN fine one - ARE YOU LISTENING???
