TOMTOM GO 510
- Pros: Ease of use fast to find satellites
- Cons: charging problem
I have had the Go 510 for 4 months now - after 2 months it started to get a problem whereby it wouldnt hold its charge and kept going flat - went back to tomtom once, twice, thrice, FOUR times and still the problem remains - the unit bounces up and down on the car dock and I belive this weakens the pins on the PCB where the car dock plugs in - the pins are only held on by a bit of solder! It still doesnt hold its charge so I have demanded a replacement from tomtom as I havent been able to use it properly for 2 months at least now - each time it has been returned saying no problem found! That is very cheeky! I am going to try a navman soon i think.
