Save your money

  • Pros: Sometimes works
  • Cons: no tech support, no advanced features

My girlfriend bought one of these 2 years ago and gave it to me to replace my 7 year old Garmin. Frankly I wish I had the Garmin back. This lacks a lot of the basic features like a trip recorder, User POIs posted on maps, a trackback feature, etc.

It started going flakey a few months back and I had to contact Navman tech support. I learned they had no tech support in the States and I eventually got through to a teck in the UK who instructed me to mail in the unit.

Weeks later he called and said the unit was dead, but he would sell me a F20 for $149 (US). I refused to throw good money after bad and requested my unit back. Weeks later it shows up and it HAD NEVER BEEN OPENED. All my original packing material was undisturbed.

I would never buy another Navman, nor recommend one to anybody.
