The 8800 is the natural successor to up-scale Nokia's 8910i, but it doesn't quite hit the mark. To justify the 8800's huge price Nokia has billed this phone as something very fashionable and special, but it isn't. It's a phone worth £200 dressed up in marketing clothing and is being sold for £500-600. For this price-tag the 8800 has a surprisingly low-spec 0.5 megapixel camera in an age when you're seeing low-range phones with 1mp cameras. This phone doesn't have the "wow" factor that Nokia's fashion phones (The art deco 7650, and the L'amour range 7360/70/80) have and is a lot more expensive. I'd save your money and buy something else unless you're stinkin' rich and really want this phone. If you do get this, you'll grow tired of it quite quickly.
