I've had this phone for 8 months now (k750i previously), i really have put it to the test and my conclusion is not to buy this phone. Here are a few niggles i come across frequently :
It answers itself, The alarm has a bug that you can't switch off, it crashes without clue, sometimes it wont connect not even a dial tone. No camera, it doesnt always make you aware of a caller or txt! the touchscreen coupled with the menu system especially when texting is frustrating and time consuming, the buttons are not raised so its hard hit the right letter everytime,
But Its not all bad, like i said before i demand quite a bit from this phone, i use it as a modem to connect my laptop to the net at 46kbps (more like 28kbps) and im usually on for hours and it provides decent web browsing, the usb cable doesnt supply enough power to charge the phone when downloading large files if the battery isnt full. i choose to use slower bluetooth and stream it to my laptop so i can charge the phone the same time. The 4gb memory is very handy also, perfect for connecting to your car headunit by bluetooth, lead or cassete tape trick, the quality of the player is very good with decent ear speakers, The graphic equalizer is only adjustable to pre set levels which is highly frustrating and also there is a raised play/pause button on the right side of the phone that has gone off so many times and thats when the phone is locked too.
I like what it can do but it should do it better, the fact it doesn't have a camera should make you look elsewere. I would not recommend the w950i unless its cheap 4bg music player and mobile net anywhere for your laptop (im with 3)
