Looking to carry my sizable music collection around I was temped by the Sony NWA300 but deterred by the software. I opted for the 60GB Video Ipod mainly for the extra battery life offered by its larger size.
On the whole I'm pleased, it looks good (if large) and the audio quality is excellent (although not perfect - 320mbps MP3 encoding). Navigation is easy (if sometimes glitchy), iTunes excellent and video impressive.
I'm a bit annoyed at the pausing I experience between tracks (especially with albums where songs run into one another) and it has also crashed on me. This and the navigation glitches has distracted me from the good experience of what is supposed to be the cream of MP3 players.
