Samsung PS42Q97 -

I bought this TV to replace a 37" lg LCD because i got fed up with rubbish black levels during night time viewing and generally washed out blacks. First impressions are good the colours are better produced and more vibrant than the old LCD it almost feels like you could reach into the TV and touch the person!! , and the black levels are spot on . The plasma has a host of features for picture quality and so far I'm very impressed. My only gripes are the sound seems week and in some instances the reds seem over the top but this could be down to the setting's was originally looking for either a pioneer or Panasonic plasma but after a lot of research and testing of the TV s the samsungs picture easily matched the pioneer and it costs half as much.
i would definitely recommend this TV especially for £700
