Got this phone as an upgrade. Was using the K750i, which was a really good phone. The display on the K800i is just superb. The wallpaper pics look fabulous. The camera is top quality and very easy to use. It does almost everything the K750i does only better. The inbox is so big that it stores messages for a week to 10 days..in my case this is approximately 200-300 sometimes more. The phone itself is quite bulky but not as bulky as some of the others out in the market. The keypad is soft and it took a while for me to get used to as most phones I have used in the past have firmer ones. A few days after I bought the phone an icon appeared on the left top corner of the display...its blue and looks like ripples in pond. I could not find anything about what this icon meant in the manual or the sony website. I got the answer from the web. It just means that the mobile provider has got the capacity for high speed downloads (high speed as in faster than before). To turn it off you need to go to menu...settings..connectivity..mobile networks..GSM/3G and then select the GSM only option. If you are not using the phone to connect to the net all the time then it wont matter whether you have this or not. Overall a very good phone and I'm enjoying using it.
