Garmin Nuvi300

I have had my Garmin Nuvi300 for a couple of weeks now and I am quite satisfied with it's performance. I find the voice tone rather severe and inadvertently touching the screen whilst it is switched on has weird results. A very handy point is a constant warning if the car strays over the speed limit. I am totally confused about the Garmin lock as there is nothing in the rather limited instructions to indicate how this operates. I find it very fiddly to mount the unit on to it's cradle, perhaps my expertise will improve with time.
