Better than Bruce Bruce!

  • Cons: Poor manual, website & after-sales service.

I had an built-in-car sat nav system prior to buying my 710 and I am very pleased with the change-over. The maps are better, the directions are more clearly displayed and the overall performance is much better.

The problem is the manual is unhelpful, the website is confusing for maintaining information and is used by TomTom to sell additional services not support customers. The telephone helpline people can be very 'unhelpful' - I was told to take actions which caused more of a problem and the next contact could not understand why the first information was given as it weas completelu wrong!
