  1. Plays all your discs and all VHS tapes

    • Pros: Good picture quality on old tapes
    • Cons: No search function on VHS

    My previous DVD / VHS player didn't even try to play my old tapes, it just shut itself down. When i connected my Philips DVP3100V to my TV-set and inserted an old tape in it i was a bit nervous but when i saw the excellent picture and heard the perfect sound on a tape that my old player refused to play i was in heaven.
